Lexington High School is a public school approved by the Alabama State Department of Education that serves students in grades 7-12 and is one of seven high schools making up the Lauderdale County School System.  Lexington is located approximately 20 miles Northeast of the Florence-Muscle Shoals Metropolitan Area commonly known as “The Shoals”.  LHS has 380 students enrolled in grades 7-12 and employs the 20th ranked “Best Public High School Teachers in Alabama” according to Niche.  Along with the multitude of support staff and volunteers, Lexington High School creates a STRONG place of learning and growing, for not just our students, but the community that surrounds it.
